Management Team Enhanced To Focus On Growth And Fund Raising
Rheinbach, 01.05.2021. WaveTech, whose products enhance the life and reliability of batteries, announced today that Aasmund Erlandsen has been appointed to the new Chief Operating Officer (COO). Silas Poel, the current COO of WaveTech will become CFO focusing on growth opportunities through raising capital and acquisitions.
Mr Erlandsen joined WaveTech following a more than 30 years career holding senior roles in global organisations largely in the energy sector. He has held positions including COO in Sevan Drilling, was Vice President of Operations Assurance in Transocean and their Managing Director in Norway and he also has held management positions in Norwegian and international companies, among them DNO and Equinor. He was co- founder of Fram Drilling, where he held the position as COO.
Aasmund has a Masters of Management degree from the Norwegian School of Management and a Bachelor of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering from the University in Stavanger.
